Modernization and improvement of system for production of heat energy of Public utility-dwelling company Zajecar through realization of public-private partnership project which comprehend long-term supply and production of heat energy out of newly installed wood biomass boilers and natural gas boilers
Public procurement comprehends selection of private partner and award of public Contract for public-private partnership which subject is long-term supply of heat energy and production of heat energy out wood biomass and natural gas, where the share of biomass in heat energy production is at least 50%. With an aim of as much as possible quality and effective providing of energy service and long-term supply of heat energy, private partner shall invest in system for production of heat energy of Public utility-dwelling company Zajecar by construction of new and reconstruction of existing energy installations (boiler houses) for production of heat energy for supply of buildings connected to district heating system of Public utility-dwelling company Zajecar, as well as by construction of missing connecting hot water pipework which will connect newly erected boiler house with existing hot water pipework.

Tetra Tech is the implementer of the Moldova Energy Security Activity (MESA) which is a 4-year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development. The objective of the Moldova Energy Security Activity (MESA) is to strengthen Moldova’s energy security by: (1) advancing physical and market integration of the Moldovan energy sector with Europe; (2) increasing renewable energy integration; and (3) increasing investment in energy efficiency and domestic power generation, particularly through increased adoption of renewable energy technologies.
Within this context, MESA is seeking to procure and install a Wide Area Management System (WAMS) for the Moldovan transmission system operator, SE Moldelectrica. The WAMS shall improve the system stability, facilitate the open market development as well as the
reliability of energy exchange within the country and with neighbour countries.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the French Development Agency (AFD)are providing a sovereign loan of EUR 150M to the Republic of Serbia. This loan will finance the “Serbian Solid Waste Programme” aiming at improving solid waste management in Serbia.
It covers the construction or optimization of 6 Regional Waste Management Systems (RWMS) in Serbia: Kalenić, Sombor, Duboko, Nova Varoš, Pirot and Sremska Mitrovica. It intends to provide modern solid waste facilities compliant with EU standards, contribute to higher service levels, and address pressing environmental challenges in the solid waste sector across the country in line with the National Waste Management Program of Serbia which was adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in February 2022.
The Beneficiary is the Republic of Serbia, represented by the Ministry of Finance. The Ministry of Environmental Protection will be in charge of Project implementation, with support from the regional waste management companies.

The Republic of Moldova has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Moldova Second District Heating Efficiency Improvement Project (DHEIP2), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract for Installation of new feedwater pump and motor (including associated equipment) for the steam boiler in Unit no.2, CHP Source-1 (Plant Design, Supply & Installation).
The Moldova Energy Projects Implementation Unit (MEPIU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment and systems for the technological upgrade and reconstruction of the Feedwater Pumping System FWP-2 for Unit no.2 at CHP Source-1 Plant, including, but not limited to: Feedwater pump; Electric motor; Medium-voltage (MV) variable speed drive; MV switchgear; Automation, control and other equipment and systems required to implement the new feedwater pumping system.
The site for the Contract works is located at CHP Source-1 (former name: CHP-2), which is the largest heat and electricity production plant of Termoelectrica SA (main producer of heat and electricity and the main supplier of district heating services to consumers in the city of Chisinau and its suburbs).
The Contract implementation period is envisaged for 12 months (Plant should attain completion by November 30, 2023 and 60 days to finalize the guarantee tests).
This project proposes the reconstruction of the 2 (two) water towers and rehabilitation of 2 (two) deep wells in Cobusca Veche com. which will include the following activities: installation of water tower with W=50m3, H =18 m and construction of manholes and pipelines (platform A1), installation of water tower with W=50m3, H =15 m and construction of manholes and pipelines (platform B1), rehabilitation of the deep well (platform B2), rehabilitation of deep well(platform C1).
